Assalammualaikum wbt dan salam sejahtera,
Universiti Malaysia Sarawak akan menyertai SUKIPT 2018 yangmerupakan edisi ke-4 semenjak tahun 2012 dianjurkan . Kali ini, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi akan menjadi tuan rumah kepada kejohanan dwi tahunan yang berpestij ini bermula pada 2-10 Februari 2018. Kontinjen UNIMAS akan menyertai sebanyak 16 sukan dengan kekuatan kontinjen 14 orang pegawai dan 79 atlet.
Acara sukan yang disertai terbahagi kepada 2 fasa iaitu Fasa 1(2-7 Februari 2018) tenis, badminton, bola tampar (wanita), boling padang (wanita), ping pong (lelaki dan wanita), memanah (lelaki), sepak takraw (lelaki), Silat Olahraga (lelaki dan wanita), tenpin bowling (wanita), taekwando (lelaki) dan renang (lelaki) manakala Fasa 2 (5-10 Februari 2018) Olahraga (lelaki dan wanita), ragbi 7's (lelaki), catur (lelaki dan wanita) , karate (wanita) dan skuasy (lelaki).
En. Zambari Hj Baijuri (Ketua Penolong Pengarah , Pusat Sukan) telah dilantik sebagai Ketua Kontinjen UNIMAS manakala Timbalan Ketua Kontinjen adalah En. Ealfy Gragory Dullie (Pegawai Belia & Sukan, Pusat Sukan). Dengan Motto Kontinjen 'TEGUH BERSAMA' pastinya akan menjadi penyuntik semangat atlet-atlet UNIMAS untuk bertanding dan memperolehi kejayaan cemerlang demi mengharumkan nama UNIMAS di SUKIPT 2018. Time: 0900 - 1700 hrs
Venue: CTF1 (Room Seminar 4, 5 & 6)
We would like to refer to clause 10.1.2 of the Graduate Studies Regulation where it stated that the pre-requisite for a thesis to be submitted for examination is that the student has undergone and passed the Research Methodology course. So therefore, all new students are invited to attend this course.

TO COURSEWORK STUDENT
APPEAL TO CONTINUE STUDY AFTER GIVEN “FAILED AND TERMINATED” (GB) STATUS FOR SEMESTER 1-2017/2018
Please take note of the following information:-
1. 2nd February 2018 (Friday) – Termination letter will be issued to the student.
2. 2nd February 2018 (Friday) to 12th February 2018 (Monday) –Submission of Appeal Letter to:

Centre for Graduate Studies Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) 94300 Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.
3. Payment of RM50.00 for processing fee must be made payable to UNIMAS Holding Sdn. Bhd (Account No: 2-11128-0000180-3/RHB Bank Sdn Bhd). Please attach a copy of receipt together with your application.
4. Application received after 12th February 2018 will not be considered.
5. Notification of appeal results will be issued on the 19 th February 2018 (Monday)

KOTA SAMARAHAN, 29 April 2019 – Sebagai usaha menyemarakkan program membaca, Pusat Khidmat Maklumat Akademik telah mengambil inisiatif menganjurkan Program Cinta Ilmu selama dua hari bermula 29 April lepas sebagai menyokong Read@UNIMAS dan menarik minat membaca dan memupuk kecintaan kepada ilmu dalam kalangan warga UNIMAS.
Objektif program adalah untuk menyemarakkan semangat membaca dalam kalangan warga UNIMAS,memupuk kecintaan kepada ilmu pengetahuan, menggalakkan kempen menderma buku dalam kalangan warga UNIMAS serta meningkatkan kesedaran budaya membaca di kalangan masyarakat.
Antara aktiviti diadakan seperti gimik perasmian, Jom Baca 10 minit, Read Out Loud yang dilakukan oleh tiga orang pelajar dari sekolah SK St. Martin, SK Empila dan SK Dato Mohd Musa Samarahan, persembahan nyanyian oleh Adik Sofia Arissa, Read and Write with Emerald, pameran dan jualan buku dan cenderahati, jualan makanan dan minuman (food truck)Yakub
Istimewanya Program Cinta Ilmu kali ini turut dihadiri oleh Miss Planet International 2019, Cik Viviana Lin Watson,19, yang telah mewakili Malaysia ke peringkat antarabangsa untuk Miss Planet International pada 1 Mac 2019 di Cambodia dan telah merangkul anugerah 2nd runner up Miss Planet International 2019 bersandarkan minat membaca yang mendalam dan mempunyai pengetahuan am yang luas.

Kota Samarahan, 30 August 2018: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and Estream Software Sdn. Bhd, Malaysia with the aim of establishing a basis upon which UNIMAS and Estream may explore areas for cooperation and collaboration such as research, staff engagement, industrial study visits and student industrial placement.
This event was officiated by Ybhg Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi as Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and Mr Desmond Law Hoe Yan, Managing Director of Estream Software Sdn. Bhd, Malaysia.
This event was witnessed by Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Associate Professor Michael Tinggi and Ms Ong Bee Wei, the Education Advisor of Estream Software Sdn. Bhd., as well as Unimas staff and other invited guests.
The Memorandum of Understanding is in line with UNIMAS's vision of being an exemplary university through the pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and scholarship.
