The exhibition is held in conjunction with Nukenen Festival (Food Festival) 2017. It serves as the platform to display the preliminary outcome of the research conducted on the selected megalithic structure found at the Kelabit Highland. The documentation is based on studies made on Batu Narit Arur Bilit, Pa’ Umor and Batu Ritung, Pa’ Lungan during our research field trip in April 2017.
This collaborative research between five academic members from the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts and Faculty of Social Science, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). The research was funded by the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) under Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). The execution of the exercise has received a strong support by RURUM Kelabit Sarawak (RKS). The main focus of this investigation is to conduct an intensive visual documentation and present the outcome by portraying them using recent technological approach.
