Live Talk by Corporate and Publication Unit FMHS: COVID-19: Facts vs Myths
Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has initiated a live talk series entitled Health Talk Series (HeTS) or Siri Bicara Kesihatan publicly via online platform on the 26th November 2020. The aim is to align with the aspiration of the university to be a community-driven university in terms of knowledge and technology transfer to the community and encouraging community engagement. This initiative is spearheaded by the Corporate and Publication Unit of FHMS led by Associate Professor Dr. Helmy bin Hazmi. This live talk is made possible with assistance from the Centre for Information Technology Development & Services (CITDS) UNIMAS led by Ts. Alhadi bin Bujang, Mr. Dunstan Dajau Supit from Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts (FACA) UNIMAS and faculty members. The topic for the first session of HeTS was COVID-19: Facts vs Myths, hosted by Madam Rasidah binti Abd Wahab, whereas invited panellists included Professor Datu Mohd Fadzil bin Abd Rahman, Professor Datu Dr. Andrew Kiyu Dawie anak Usop and Associate Professor Dr. Chai Chee Shee. Pejabat Naib Canselor (PNC) dan SQRC telah mengadakan Bengkel Pelan Strategik 2021-2025 UNIMAS di Colosseum 2, Hotel Pullman Kuching pada 3-5 September 2020. Bengkel telah memberi peluang kepada kesemua Ketua Strategik Fokus 1-5 (Strategic Focus Owner 1-5) membentangkan cadangan Strategic Indicator Goal (SIG) masing-masing untuk diperdebat dan dibincangkan.
Turut melakukan pembentangan adalah Pengurus Besar UHSB dan CEO UBS. Bengkel telah dihadiri Naib Canselor, Timbalan-Timbalan Naib Canselor, Penolong Naib Canselor, Bendahari, Pendaftar, Dekan, Pengarah dan Pegawai Pengurusan Kanan P&P. Turut serta ialah Pengerusi LPU dan Pengerusi UHSB.

Tempat: Sarawak Chamber, Hotel Riverside Majestic, Kuching.Pejabat Naib Canselor dan Pusat Perancangan Strategik, Pengurusan Kualiti dan Risiko (SQRC) telah mengadakan Bengkel Penjajaran Pelan Strategik UNIMAS 2016-2020 & 2021-2025. Seramai 170 peserta terdiri daripada Ketua Strategi PTj, Timbalan-timbalan Dekan, Ketua Jabatan, Penyelaras Program dan Penyelaras Pascasiswazah dari semua fakulti telah hadir.
Turut serta ialah Dekan dan Pengarah fakulti terpilih yang tidak dapat hadir pada sesi sebelum ini.
