Pada 13 September 2019, pihak Muzium Anatomi dan Patologi telah menerima rombongan pelawat daripada SMK St Luke, Sri Aman seramai 32 orang pelajar serta 8 orang guru pengiring dan SMK Lubok Antu seramai 24 orang pelajar serta 6 orang guru pengiring.

Objektif lawatan ini adalah bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan awal dan menyemai minat kepada para pelajar terhadap bidang sains perubatan. Selain daripada itu, pelawat juga memperolehi ilmu kesihatan dan info mengenai penyakit serta mendapat maklumat tentang penjagaan kesihatan.

Pada masa yang sama, pihak Muzium Anatomi dan Patologi juga menerima pelawat daripada Fakulti Sains Kognitif dan Pembangunan Manusia (FSKPM), UNIMAS seramai 20 orang.

Lawatan ini telah dikendalikan oleh Juruteknologi Makmal Perubatan iaitu Puan Azimah Hj Ahmad, Cik Whilemena Upam, Encik Romina Grey Melvin, Encik Azhar bin Abdul Aziz dan Pembantu Perawatan Kesihatan iaitu Encik Abdul Rahman Bin Ariffin dan Puan Heni Vincent.

The Institute of Social Informatics and Technological Innovations (ISITI) will be hosting an Open Day, starting from 26 - 27 September 2019.

This two-day event serves as a platform to introduce the diverse and innovative works of research that the Institute has taken on as well as the various university-community engagement projects that have been initiated over the years to members of the public.

The Open Day will be held at both the ISITI Main Office and the Microsoft Lab, located at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Visitors to the Open Day can look forward to a myriad of activities such as Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) games and competitions, Oroo’ games, and showcases of research projects. There will also be public lectures conducted by ISITI researchers on digital design using WACOM as well as on the learning technologies for rural communities on the first day of the Open Day.
