    KOTA SAMARAHAN, 24 Julai 2019: Seramai 200 anggota Polis Bantuan dari pelbagai agensi di negeri ini telah menyertai Seminar Kepolisan Komuniti yang diadakan selama satu hari anjuran Bahagian Keselamatan UNIMAS dan Persatuan Kepolisan Komuniti Sarawak.


    Seminar ini telah dirasmikan oleh Timbalan Naib Canselor (Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni) UNIMAS, Profesor Datu Mohd Fadzil Abdul Rahman mewakili Naib Canselor UNIMAS bertempat di Pusat Islam Tun Abang Salahuddin UNIMAS, hari ini.

    Turut hadir pada majlis perasmian ialah Pengerusi Persatuan Kepolisan Komuniti Sarawak, Datuk John Lau Pang Heng, Pendaftar UNIMAS Encik Henry Tening Anak Senging dan Pengarah Keselamatan Bahagian Keselamatan UNIMAS, Lt. Kol (B) Mohd Melintang Abdullah.

    Dalam seminar tersebut, dua penceramah telah dijemput iaitu Supt. Ang Seow Aun dari Kontinjen Polis Sarawak dan DSP Saga Anak Chunggat dari Pusat Pengajian PGA PULAPOL Kuching.

    Objektif seminar adalah untuk merealisasikan impian kerajaan khasnya PDRM dalam memastikan peningkatan penyertaan dan penglibatan rakyat termasuk anggota Polis Bantuan dalam program-program pencegahan jenayah.

    Ia juga dapat meningkatkan kemahiran dan pembelajaran para peserta terutama anggota Polis Bantuan dalam hal-hal berkaitan persiapan dan persediaan menghadapi jenayah dalam usaha mengurangkan kadar jenayah di negara ini.

    KOTA SAMARAHAN, 25th July 2019: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), along with Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Swinburne), University College Technology of Sarawak (UCTS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin) organised the Innovation Technology Exposition 2019 (InTEX19).

    InTEX19 initially is part of UNIMAS on-going research and innovation initiatives; and serves as a platform for academics from UNIMAS to showcase their research outcome and translate them into innovative and creative research outputs such as products and designs.

    Pursuant to the participations of UNIMAS, Swinburne, UCTS, UiTM and Curtin at the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak 2018 (IDECS), which was held from 13th to 15th May 2018, the SMA had initiated the signings of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between these institutions of higher learning (IHLs) in Sarawak. As such, InTEX19 celebrates this partnership, which saw SMA as the co-organiser while Swinburne, UCTS, UiTM and Curtin as the associate organisers of the event.
