Fin-Ace (Finance Student Association) has organized an inspiring and insightful mobility program - Academic & Cultural Exchange Trip to Tokyo, Japan this semester. The trip inclusive of 10 students are having the time of their life here in Reitaku University & Tokyo Japan from 15-23 April 2019. The Deputy Dean of HEPA of FEB, Dr Norazirah Ayob, Finance Program Coordinator, Naim Kamaruzaman, and lecturers, Azuriaty Atang, and Mohd Uzairi have accompanied the students.

The primary purpose of this trip is to expose the students of the Japanese culture, education system and business environments.

Other than the Reitaku University, the students are also going to visit MATRADE, Embassy of Malaysia at Tokyo, Muslim Professional Japan Association, Tokyo Stock Exchange and Bank of Japan.

Fin-Ace hopes that more similar programs were to be organised in future; for, students can have a fresh perspective and wholesome education experience that goes beyond the classroom.

Greatest gratitude for the immense support from FEB and UNIMAS Global.

    TRIZ 4 Teachers & Parents ( 27 - 28 March 2019).jpeg

ISITI, in collaboration with MyTRIZ and Education for a New Era (ENE), recently organized a TRIZ 4 Teachers & Parents special workshop. Based on the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ), this approach to problem solving is also useful to increase the proficiency of problem solving in particularly the “closed” problems which are typically found in the schools where this is only one answer and the answer is available in the textbook.

The two-day workshop introduced participants to methods of solving “open” and “inventive” problems using TRIZ and a set of tools derived from the study of patterns of invention. The facilitators of this workshop, Mr. Tan Eng Hoo and Mdm. Tan Lai Kit, also shared ways of teaching creative and innovative thinking skills to children.
