Fin-Ace (Finance Student Association) has organized an inspiring and insightful mobility program - Academic & Cultural Exchange Trip to Tokyo, Japan this semester. The trip inclusive of 10 students are having the time of their life here in Reitaku University & Tokyo Japan from 15-23 April 2019. The Deputy Dean of HEPA of FEB, Dr Norazirah Ayob, Finance Program Coordinator, Naim Kamaruzaman, and lecturers, Azuriaty Atang, and Mohd Uzairi have accompanied the students.

The primary purpose of this trip is to expose the students of the Japanese culture, education system and business environments.

Other than the Reitaku University, the students are also going to visit MATRADE, Embassy of Malaysia at Tokyo, Muslim Professional Japan Association, Tokyo Stock Exchange and Bank of Japan.

Fin-Ace hopes that more similar programs were to be organised in future; for, students can have a fresh perspective and wholesome education experience that goes beyond the classroom.

Sibu, Sarawak – 30 teachers from selected primary schools in Sibu, Song, Kapit, Selangau, Meradong and Kapit area attended a 5 days training on Computational Thinking and Computer Science Educator program and Hotel Tanahmas, Sibu, Sarawak. The training, which is a collaboration between MDEC, Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), Sarawak State Education Department, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Research Sarawak (MESTR) and Universiti Sarawak with the objective to provide knowledge and exposure on Computational Thinking and Computer Science for the teachers so that it can be implemented at schools.

The subject on Computational Thinking (CT) which is a set of problem-solving methods that involve expressing problems and their solutions in ways that a computer could execute is being introduced at both the primary and secondary in all schools in Malaysia which is part of the 21st Century Learning paradigm that emphasize on problem solving skill, creative thinking, collaboration for students. Additionally, Computer Science courses has also been introduced to secondary school as well. Syabas dan tahniah diucapkan kepada Pasukan BHEPA yang telah berjaya melangkah ke Suku Akhir bolasepak Piala Pengerusi LPU UNIMAS 2019. Pasukan BHEPA telah berjaya membenam Pasukan FPIP-U dengan jaringan 2-1. Kedua-dua gol BHEPA telah dijaringkan oleh Mod Firdus.

Di peringkat Suku Akhir, Pasukan BHEPA akan bertemu Pasukan FSGK/FSSK/FEB pada 18 April 2019 (Khamis) pukul 4.00 petang di Padang Bolasepak B, Komplek Sukan. Dengan kerjasama dan semangat berpasukan yang tinggi Pasukan BHEPA optimis untuk mampu melangkah ke Separuh Akhir menentang Pasukan FSGK/FSSK/FEB nanti.
