    A discussion session was held between FCSIT/UNIMAS represented by AP Dr Johari Abdullah, and SMA-TEGAS Innovation Hub represented by the manager, Manzoor Hayat Khan, together with Mr Hazwan from SMA, Mr Amirul from SMG (Sarawak media Group), and Mr Ahmad Azwar from SatuCreative. The discussion centred around collaboration between both parties on providing ecosystem and support for Internship (Industrial Training) through Startup Mode. The Faculty of Computer Science and IT, UNIMAS has an ongoing Internship program embedded within the undergraduate program whereby a student has to go through a compulsory 6 months attachment at industry or organization working on ICT related projects. This year, FCSIT introduced a new mode for the internship whereby students are allowed to undergo the internship program through a start-up mode where they have to go through the process of creating an ICT-based start-up up to the point of producing a working product in the market. During this session, 2 groups of students whom currently undergoing the Start-up based Internship presented their ideas to the panel.     A discussion session was held between FCSIT/UNIMAS represented by AP Dr Johari Abdullah, Dr Sze San Nah (TD KIKP), Dr Jacey-Lynn Minoi (Project Lead for myCapsule Space Project), and Tn Hj Abdul Rahman Mat (Supervisor for Service Learning Team for Pulau Salak) with Sacofa representative, En Mohamad Sait, ( Head of Corporate Communications), and Mr Venu Putjankattil (Executive, Corporate Communications). The discussion is on collaboration for conducting a CSR program under Sacofa whre FCSIT/UNIMAS will be the training partner for the program. The program, Kid-Digital-STEM Education Programme, aims at providing exposure for Standard 5 and 6 students from SK Salak in term of providing term exposure and training in the area of IT, programming and digital literacy. The 3 days program will be conducted at myCapsule space and Makerspace at the Faculty of Computer Science and IT, from 26th to 28th March 2019 and will involved 30 Standard 5 and 6 students from SK Salak. The facilitator for the program will be the students from the faculty, which is part of the Service Learning Program.
