SIGNING CEREMONY OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU) BETWEEN UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA SARAWAK AND DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS MALAYSIA (DOSM)

Kota Samarahan, 22 Februari 2019: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) with the aim of establishing a basis upon which UNIMAS and Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) may explore areas for cooperation and collaboration such as research, academic and staff engagement. This event was officiated by Ybhg Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi as Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and Ybhg Dato’ Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chief Statistician, Department of Statistic, Malaysia. This event was witnessed by Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Associate Professor Michael Tinggi and Yang Berbahagia Mdm Roslawati binti Yahya, Director, Department of Statistic Malaysia – State of Sarawak, as well as Unimas staff and other invited guests. The Memorandum of Understanding is in line with UNIMAS's vision of being an exemplary university through the pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and scholarship.
