Announcement: UNIMAS AHA Training Site Course Calendar 2018 (2^nd Half)

The UNIMAS American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site is pleased to announce its latest course offerings for the second half of 2018.

UNIMAS is an official training site that offers the following AHA Courses:

• Courses for Healthcare Professionals:
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course for Healthcare Providers
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course
• Courses for Non-Medically Trained Personnel:
  • AHA Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR & AED Provider Course

Enrolled participants will receive the official AHA course package upon registration. Participants who successfully fulfill the assessment (written and skills testing) requirements of the course will be awarded with an AHA provider status which is internationally recognized and valid for 2-years.

All courses will be conducted by AHA certified instructors in the Clinical Simulation Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Kota Samarahan Campus. The training facility is fully equipped with simulators of varying fidelity levels to ensure our participants are fully immersed in the training programmes.

CANDIDACY FOR ZAMALAH SCHOLARSHIP GRADUATES UNIMAS (application period : 03 October 2019 untill 18 October 2019)

Application is open to all new graduate students, including those still in the first year of study, if interested. Students must complete an application for which can be downloaded from the cgs web page and must obtain verification from their supervisors. For information, this scholarships is only for candidates of research program with full-time mode only, they must meet the criteria outlined. CGS will only process complete applications, and the date receiving the forms shall not be later than 18 October 2019 (Friday).

Forms received after this date will not be entertained.
