28 April 2018: Students from the Bachelor of Nursing with Honours Programme, UNIMAS collaborated with the Clinical Simulation Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UNIMAS to organize a First Aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) exhibition in conjunction with the Kolej Rafflesia, UNIMAS Open Day Carnival over the weekend.
The exhibition consisted of demonstration stations on various first aid topics including Choking, CPR and AED use. Aside from providing teaching and skill demonstrations, our nursing students also guided participants to perform several essential life-saving first aid skills. Participants who attended the exhibition included members of the public, UNIMAS staff and students. Participants who participated in all the exhibition stations and tried their hands on the skill stations, were awarded a certificate of participation from the organizing committee. Aside from the first aid exhibition, a blood donation drive, car wash and mini games were also organized for carnival goers.

PASUKAN NYO UNITED DAN PASUKAN PULAU CENDANA UNGGULI KEJOHANAN PENALTI FUTSAL PIALA PENGARAH PUSAT SUKAN 2018

TEMPAT : ARENA FUTSAL, KOMPLEK SUKAN UNIMASKejohanan seumpama ini merupakan yang julung kali diadakan di UNIMAS yang diadakan secara tertutup untuk staf dan pelajar UNIMAS. Sebanyak 12 pasukan lelaki dan 6 pasukan wanita telah mengambil bahagian. Berikut adalah keputusan kejohanan :

Tempat Ke-3 : PUSAT SUKAN (A) & BURUNG PIPIT AKategori Wanita :
Johan : PULAU CENDANA
Naib Johan : BK FT
Tempat Ke-3 : CAIS TEAM & BPSM AJohan membawa pulang sebuah trofi, wang tunai RM 200 dan pingat, Naib Johan dengan wang tunai RM 150 dan pingat manakala Tempat Ke-3 dengan wang tunai RM 100 dan pingat. Majlis Penyampaian Hadiah telah disempurnakan oleh Prof. Madya Dr Azhaili bin Baharun, Pengarah Pusat Sukan UNIMAS. Kesinambunagan daripada ini, Pusat Sukan bercadang untuk menganjurkan kejohanan seumpama ini semasa Pest Konvo UNIMAS 2018 nanti dan akan membuka penyertaan kepada orang ramai sekitar Kuching dan Kota Samarahan.
