SHAH ALAM: Earlier this year, on 19 January 2018, Ir Dr M Danial Ibrahim and Dr Lidyana Roslan visited through the connection of Mr Rosli Mohamed the Head of Casting Department of HICOM Diecastings SDN. BHD. as an effort to continue and sustain the strong network with the research and development team in HICOM Die-Castings SDN. BHD. which past achievement triumphed the contract with Mazda Japan [1]. HICOM Diecastings SDN. BHD. is the subsidiary of one of Malaysia’s giant corporation in the automotive industry, DRB-HICOM Berhad. The visit aims for potential international academia-industry collaboration to hitch UNIMAS-HICOM Diecastings SDN. BHD. with Tokai University and her industry counterpart, Kyokuto Diecasting Co. LTD., a diecasting factory specialized in premium products located at Kanagawa, Japan, which Ir Dr M Danial Ibrahim visited 28 August 2017 [2].
