Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS:  On 17^th October 2018, Students Section of IEM-SAFE, Faculty of Engineering, have organised a Career Talk and Exhibition Day programme as part of their E-Week activities. In this programme, a speaker from X-Fab Sarawak company Miss Maureen Labarge who is the HR Director of the company, has been invited to give a talk on ‘Good CV Writing & Interview Skills’ at Multipurpose Hall, Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS. A total of 85 students from different departments of Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS has attended the talk. In conjunction with this career talk, delegations from Press Metal Bintulu Sdn. Bhd. Was also invited to open a recruitment and internship booth for the students of Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS. From this programme, students could obtain additional knowledge on how to write a good CV and also improve their interview skills. This programme also provides a platform for students especially the final year students and alumni to join a recruitment for Aluminium Smelting Programme by Press Metal Bintulu Sdn. Bhd.

Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS:  On 17^th October 2018, Students Section of IEM-SAFE, Faculty of Engineering, have organised the FK Tour programme as part of their E-Week activities. In this programme two secondary schools, namely, SMK Sungai Tapang and MRSM Kuching, have been invited to tour the Facilities available at Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS. There is a total student of 31 from SMK Sungai Tapang and 30 students from MRSM Kuching that have been invited. Prior to the visits to various laboratories at the Faculty of Engineering, the delegations of both students and teachers from both schools were briefed on UNIMAS and Faculty of Engineering and procedure on higher education intakes in Malaysia by Dr Nazeri Abdul Rahman, Deputy Dean (Student Affairs and Alumni), Faculty of Engineering. From this FK Tour programme, students could obtain a much better idea and sense of university’s vibrancy and facilities. This programme also provide the school students to mingle with engineering students and have a peek at university students life specifically at  UNIMAS Faculty of Engineering.
