UNIMAS Institute Open Day is held as part of UNIMAS' year of research enculturation. It provides opportunities for researchers and the general public alike to know more about innovative activities in UNIMAS in addition to providing access to UNIMAS' state of the art facilities and offer prospects for collaborative activities between academia, industry, government and community.
On 4 October, the world celebrates the World Animal Day, when citizens worldwide organize events to promote animal welfare and wildlife conservation. See: https://www.worldanimalday.org.uk/
In conjunction with the World Animal Day, the Institute of Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation (IBEC), will be organizing UNIMAS Institutes Open Day/World Animal Day on 4 and 5 October 2018. Activities planned include wildlife talks, workshops, games with prizes, exhibitions of research products, sale of merchandize and lots more. Located at IBEC Office, Faculty of Resource, Science and Technology Building, we are open from 9AM to 4PM on both days.
