A two days seminar on “Advanced Infrastructure Design Technology in Malaysia” was held from 9 to 10 July 2018 at Bilik Serindit 1 and 2, DeTAR Putra, UNIMAS. This seminar is a collaboration between Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre (REDAC, USM) and MES Innovation Sdn. Bhd. A total of 73 participants have registered for this seminar. The opening remarks was by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Noor Linda Taib. This was followed by a talk by Prof. Dr.Nor Azazi Zakaria, Director of REDAC, USM on “Water Security in Malaysia – Issues and Challenges” and Ir. Dr. Chang Chung Kiat , also from REDAC USM on “Urban Stormwater Management (SUStoM) in Malaysia – Design Requirement and Criteria”. The seminar continues with the introduction of the MES Infra Integrated Total Solution (MiTS version 2.0) software by Mr. Bryan Ewe of MES Innovation Sdn Bhd and subsequently the demonstration of the software capabilities and also training by the staff of MES Innovation Sdn Bhd.
