    MyRA Special Grant

    Our Vice Chancellor, YBhg. Prof Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi in his Amanat, has announced that RM1Million will be allocated as special research funds to faculties that attained good MyRA star rating as one of the initiatives to promote research enculturation among our researchers.

     

    Hence, UNIMAS Innovation has evaluated all of our Faculties' research and innovation performances based on the MyRA modified assessment. With that, below are the stars that have been awarded to faculties, based on the MyRA assessment performance:

    It is my pleasure to invite all members of UNIMAS academics to submit proposals through your respective faculties for the 3rd cycle of MyRA special grant.  The criteria for 3rd cycle of MyRA Special Grant are as follow:


    1. Priorities are given to non-principal investigators (DS/DU54 and below)

    2. For researchers who have applied for MyRA special grants, you can apply for the 3rd cycle on condition that the previous MyRA grant is completed, the end report submitted to UNIMAS Innovation and the KPIs were achieved.

    CRITERIA

    Science/Engineering/Technology faculties

    RM20,000-RM25,000 per project

    Minimum ONE journal paper published in ISI/SCOPUS/ERA
    1. Non-Principal Investigator
    2. DS/DU 54 and below

    Non-Science faculties

    RM5,000-RM10,000 per project

     

    Please take note that each faculty is allocated funds according to the star rating, therefore all research proposals must be vetted and approved by faculties according to the funds apportioned to the respective faculties. 

     

    Kindly be informed that final proposal endorsed by the faculties must be submitted online through iRIS by 14 May 2018.
