RESEARCH METHODOLOGY SEMINAR
Dear All,
We are pleased to inform that the Research Methodology Seminar will be held as follows:
Date: 4 & 5 April 2018 (Wednesday & Thursday)
Time: 0900 - 1700 hrs
Venue: CTF1 (Room Seminar 4, 5 & 6)
We would like to refer to Clause 10.1.2 of the Graduate Studies Regulation which states that :
All research students must have undergone the Research Methodology
Seminar and passed the presentation held by the Faculty/Institute, in
order to graduate.
It is compulsory for all research students to attend this Research Methodology Seminar.
The schedule/programme is as detailed below:
Day 1 (Wednesday)
4 Apr 2017 Topic
0900 – 1050 Overview of Research Methodology
1100 – 1250 Reviewing Related Literature
1400 – 1450 Research Planning and Management
1500 – 1700 Data Collection
Day 2 (Thursday)
5 Apr 2017 Topic
0900 – 1050 Data Analysis
1100 – 1250 Writing Thesis
1400 – 1450 Ethics in Research
1500 – 1700 Giving an Effective Presentation
