Kota Samarahan, 23 January 2018 : Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) received a delegation from Beijing Wuzi University for a dialogue on future collaboration here yesterday.

The delegation, led by its Vice President, Professor Weng Xingang, expressed interest in a reciprocal partnership with UNIMAS, the premier University in Sarawak.

Beijing Wuzi University is a municipal university located in Tongzhou District of Beijing, China, and has six schools: School of Economics, School of Logistics, School of Informatics, School of Business, School of Labor Relations and Human Resources, Department of Foreign Languages, School of Labor Science and Law, School of Foreign languages and Cultures.

During the Dialogue, the two institutions shared ideas on possible future collaboration, specifically focusing on student exchange.

UNIMAS has been organizing International Summer School which has attracted participants from China and is looking forward to receiving participants from Beijing Wuzi University in its future programmes.

Also present during the visit was Dato’ Dominic Su, CEO of Regal Group of Companies, Mr Anderson Voon of NIIT College, Mr Yang Cheng Cheng, Director of Global China Centre Cultural Services and a number of UNIMAS top management personnel.
