UNIMAS will be using indigenous handicrafts from the Temiar, Semai and Penan artisans as corporate souvenirs from the university. These handicrafts are the products of the various communities that have been closely cooperating with the Institute of Social Informatics and Technological Innovations (ISITI) on various research projects such as the Telecentre Program for Orang Asli (TPOA) Project and UCTC Long Lamai Project. This handicraft project is one of the initiatives introduced by the ISITI researchers to assist the indigenous artisans create more commercial opportunities for themselves and their communities. Some of the products that have been produced by these artisans include craft baskets, rattan bracelets, gadang, and coiling platters.
