The Institute of Social Informatics and Technological Innovations (ISITI) will be hosting an Open Day, starting from 26 - 27 September 2019.
This two-day event serves as a platform to introduce the diverse and innovative works of research that the Institute has taken on as well as the various university-community engagement projects that have been initiated over the years to members of the public.
The Open Day will be held at both the ISITI Main Office and the Microsoft Lab, located at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Visitors to the Open Day can look forward to a myriad of activities such as Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) games and competitions, Oroo’ games, and showcases of research projects. There will also be public lectures conducted by ISITI researchers on digital design using WACOM as well as on the learning technologies for rural communities on the first day of the Open Day.
Professor Dr Narayanan, Director of ISITI, together with Associate Professor Dr Rohaya Mohd Nor from the Faculty of Economics and Business and Pn. Siti Maryam from Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, will also be conducting public lectures on TRIZ on the second day of the event.
All who are interested are welcome to visit ISITI during these two days to learn more about the Institute as well as the different research areas and programmes on innovation and knowledge management offered at the Institute.
