On the 23rd of May 2017, Dr. Yanuar Z. Arief and his students organized a study visit to 275 kV Entingan Substation, Sarawak Energy Berhad, Kota Samarahan. This study visit is as part of High Voltage Technology subject activities. The main objective of this visit is to expose our student to the main function of high voltage substation in electrical power transmission system, its protection system including maintenance and safety requirement. There were 19 students participated in this event. The students have got detail explanation regarding such matter from SEB staff who are really professional, cooperative, and helpful during the visit. Through this visit the students also fell an industrial working experience which is useful for their professional career in the future. Many thanks to SEB for giving valuable opportunity to the student in this study visit.
