Conducted the “Scratch Programming for Kids” and “Introduction to Business and Digital World” workshop at Kampung Pasir Salak on March 31 till April 1 recently.\nMore than 46 participants includ ing 36 school children from SK Salak aged 11-12 took part in both events, w hich aims to improve digital literacy skills of the fishing community.\nFor the “Scratch Programming for Kids”, the participants were exposed to the I ntroduction to Scratch; a drag-and-drop, block-based, snap-together program ming language, where they learn to create simple animations and develop gam es. They were also introduced to mBOT, an educational programmable robot, w here the participants control its movement through drag-and-drop programmin g blocks.\nAs for the “Introduction to Business and Digital World” workshop , the participants were introduced to the basic knowledge in business and s trategies in marketing through the social media platform such as Facebook a nd Instagram.
