Announcement: UNIMAS AHA Training Site Course Calendar 2018 (2nd Half)
The UNIMAS American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site is pleased to announce its latest course offerings for the second half of 2018.
UNIMAS is an official training site that offers the following AHA Courses:
- Courses for Healthcare Professionals:
- Courses for Non-Medically Trained Personnel:
Enrolled participants will receive the official AHA course package upon registration. Participants who successfully fulfill the assessment (written and skills testing) requirements of the course will be awarded with an AHA provider status which is internationally recognized and valid for 2-years.
All courses will be conducted by AHA certified instructors in the Clinical Simulation Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Kota Samarahan Campus. The training facility is fully equipped with simulators of varying fidelity levels to ensure our participants are fully immersed in the training programmes.

UNIMAS is an official training site that offers the following AHA Courses:

KOTA SAMARAHAN, 22 Ogos 2019 : UNIMAS sekali lagi mencipta sejarah tersendiri dengan berlangsungnya Majlis Menandatangani Laporan Makmal Pengurusan Nilai Pembinaan dan Penyiapan Hospital Pengajar UNIMAS (HPUNIMAS) dan Pusat Kesihatan Prima (PKP) Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), telah diadakan di Staff Lounge, Rumah Universiti, UNIMAS.Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, hari ini.
Majlis menandatangani dan penyerahan dokumen berkenaan telah dilakukan oleh Naib Canselor UNIMAS, Profesor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi bersama-sama dengan Pengarah Bahagian Pembangunan Modal Insan Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ekonomi, Dr Maziah Che Yusoff dan Timbalan Setiausaha Bahagian Pembangunan II, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (Pendidikan Tinggi), Encik Megat Azlani Megat Ramli.
Naib Canselor dalam ucapan ringkasnya berkata, sektor penjagaan kesihatan di Malaysia mengalami perubahan drastik dan permintaan pengguna yang tinggi, berikutan kemajuan dalam teknologi maklumat dan kemunculan faktor risiko baharu penyakit.
Oleh kerana itu, jelas beliau, sektor penjagaan kesihatan kini memfokus bukan sahaja kepada kecekapan rawatan tetapi juga mengenai pembangunan strategi dan aktiviti pencegahan.
“ Hasilnya, penyelidikan dan latihan berterusan memainkan peranan yang semakin penting dalam sektor penjagaan kesihatan,” sambungnya.
Sejajar dengan itu, kata Naib Canselor, Hospital Pengajar UNIMAS dijangka akan memberi sumbangan besar kepada perkembangan sektor penjagaan kesihatan di Sarawak khususnya di kawasan Samarahan.

There are various categories of competition and award which open to academics, researchers, school teachers, secondary and primary school students to showcase innovations and best practices on e-Learning applications as well as interactive teaching and learning approaches.
