Announcement: UNIMAS AHA Training Site Course Calendar 2018 (2nd Half)
The UNIMAS American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site is pleased to announce its latest course offerings for the second half of 2018.
UNIMAS is an official training site that offers the following AHA Courses:
- Courses for Healthcare Professionals:
- Courses for Non-Medically Trained Personnel:
Enrolled participants will receive the official AHA course package upon registration. Participants who successfully fulfill the assessment (written and skills testing) requirements of the course will be awarded with an AHA provider status which is internationally recognized and valid for 2-years.
All courses will be conducted by AHA certified instructors in the Clinical Simulation Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Kota Samarahan Campus. The training facility is fully equipped with simulators of varying fidelity levels to ensure our participants are fully immersed in the training programmes.

The UNIMAS American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site is pleased to announce its latest course offerings for the second half of 2018 updated now with Zero rated GST.
UNIMAS is an official training site that offers the following AHA Courses:

Pada 14 Ogos 2019, pihak Muzium Anatomi dan Patologi telah menerima rombongan pelawat daripada SMK Kapit seramai 39 orang pelajar serta 5 orang guru pengiring.
Objektif lawatan ini adalah bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan awal dan menyemai minat kepada para pelajar terhadap bidang sains perubatan. Selain daripada itu, pelawat juga memperolehi ilmu kesihatan dan info mengenai penyakit serta mendapat maklumat tentang penjagaan kesihatan.
Lawatan ini telah dikendalikan oleh Juruteknologi Makmal Perubatan iaitu Puan Liwan Lasem dan Puan Ng Poh Pheng.

Pada 15 Ogos 2019, pihak Muzium Anatomi dan Patologi telah menerima rombongan pelawat daripada SMK Wira Penrissen seramai 36 orang pelawat.
Objektif lawatan ini adalah bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan awal dan menyemai minat kepada para pelajar terhadap bidang sains perubatan. Selain daripada itu, pelawat juga memperolehi ilmu kesihatan dan info mengenai penyakit serta mendapat maklumat tentang penjagaan kesihatan.
Lawatan ini telah dikendalikan oleh Juruteknologi Makmal Perubatan iaitu Puan Norliza Samsuri dan Cik Whilemena Upam ak Herman Ulok.

Pada 16 Ogos 2019, pihak Muzium Anatomi dan Patologi telah menerima lawatan daripada dua orang kakitangan Jabatan Biosains dan Kejuruteraan, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan iaitu Prof. Madya Koji Fukui dan Dr Azham Zulkharnain. Kehadiran beliau ke Muzium Anatomi dan Patologi telah ditemani oleh Dr. Tan Cheng Siang dan disambut oleh Juruteknologi Makmal Perubatan, Puan Munirah Binti Sa’adi dan Pembantu Perawatan Kesihatan, Encik Abdul Rahman bin Ariffin.

The posters that are on display at the Atrium until the 16th of August are a snapshot of the team-based projects that the medical students undertake in the second year of their studies for the Elective 1 research (MDP20505) course. With the guidance of the faculty's academic staff of their choice, the students take up projects that are either lab-based or non-lab based. Some of the projects involve the campus communities as well those that are near the university.

International University Carnival on E-Learning 2019 (IUCEL) is to be held in Borneo for the first time at the beautiful campus of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) from 21 to 22 August 2019 with the theme "Inspiring Innovations for Sustainable Futures".
There are various categories of competition and award which open to academics, researchers, school teachers, secondary and primary school students to showcase innovations and best practices on e-Learning applications as well as interactive teaching and learning approaches.
