Kuala Lumpur - Jamadil Azrul bin Ahmad, a 2nd year student of Design Technology Program from Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts has been chosen as Top 30 ACA Championship Malaysia 2019. ACA Championship Malaysia 2019, organized by Acestar Sdn Bhd, is a competition for Art and Design students. This competition is open to all institutions of higher learning, secondary schools, colleges, and polytechnics. Students are required to participate in the ACA Championship Malaysia (National Level), and the winner of this event will be chosen to participate at the ACA World Championship in New York, USA.
Jamadil attended the ACA Certification Workshop – Photoshop and ACA Championship Malaysia 2019 LIVE TEST as one of the steps to represent Malaysia in the ACA World Championship 2019 on 8th – 10th April 2019. All participants are required to attend the grand finale on the 12th -13th June and the result will be announced on the 24th June. The winner of this event will represent Malaysia for ACA World Championship in New York, USA. According to Jamadil, the competition gave him a new experience and a chance to learn from the Adobe expert, Hussin Khan and meeting new friends from different universities and colleges and he also look forward for the grand finale.
Other Design Technology students who participated in the preliminary competition are Koid Qian Hui, Lim Krisse Hee Viana, Khoo Yoon Xuan, Bok Yi Lun, Yap Choi Yee, Chong Shuk Shyan and Muhammad Afiq Izaan Zaiden. All students are supervised by Mr.Ang Tse Chwan, Miss Noorhaslina Senin and Madam Maizatul Nurhuda Saadon for the competition.
