11 July 2018 – Press Metal Sarawak Sdn Bhd with collaboration with Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS, have conducted an open interview to UNIMAS 2018 Engineering Graduating Students. Press Metal Sarawak Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of globally known Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad. This Malaysian-based aluminium company is currently the largest integrated aluminum producer in South East with smelting capacity of 760,000 tonnes while the extrusion capacity at 160,000 tonnes per annum. The main aim of this open interview was to look for suitable candidates for 10 associate engineer positions at Press Metal Sarawak Sdn Bhd particularly from UNIMAS engineering graduating students from Chemical, Mechanical and Manufacturing, as well as Electrical and Electronics departments. The interview was headed by Ms. Chua Suk Ju, Senior Executive from Human Resources & Administration Department, who is also a UNIMAS graduate from Faculty of Social Sciences. The interview started at 1.00 pm and ended at 5.00 pm. Overall, 28 interviewees from various departments and some came as far as Bintulu to attend the open interviews.
